Medical Team’s Composition and Qualifications

Every flight is staffed with a minimum of a two-person medical team, consisting of a Flight Nurse and Flight Paramedic. Physicians are available as determined by the patient’s medical condition and client request.

All medical personnel receive initial and annual training in critical care, trauma and pediatrics as well as flight physiology, safety and infectious disease handling for transport.

Biannual training utilizes state of the art Human Patient Simulators for invasive skills and scenario training.

Our crew members average 19 years in healthcare and 7 years in aeromedical transport. All staff are required to maintain a National Certification in their specialty.
