CAMTS Accreditation Renewed

Phoenix Air Group Recognized for Meeting the Highest Standards in Medical Transport Through 2028.

CAMTS (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems) accreditation is something you earn—not simply awarded. It’s a voluntary, rigorous process that demonstrates a transport service meets or exceeds specific standards for quality and safety in medical transport.

To earn CAMTS accreditation, a program must:

  • Undergo a comprehensive self-assessment and submit documentation

  • Participate in an on-site survey conducted by CAMTS surveyors

  • Show compliance with the CAMTS standards, which are evidence-based and regularly updated

Once accredited, a program must continue to uphold those standards and go through reaccreditation every three years to maintain the designation.
